The Battalion's Handbook

 

Section 1: Member basic rules

  1. Do not break any rule, you will be punished for this.

  2. Respect all members, no matter the rank, color, religion, country, culture, etc.

  3. Obey the orders of your superiors, any abuse of power by them must be immediately reported for the Council or the Global Command.

  4. No cheating and/or glitching. Members caught doing so, will be banned at the same time with presented evidence.

  5. It is absolutely forbidden multi-clanning. Unless you join a community that supports a game we don't.

  6. You have to be 16+ years old in order to join our community. Exceptions made only by the approval of the GOA.

  7. You must wear your tags all the time possible. Click here for more info.

  8. Do not share classified information (like tactics) to any person outside the community. Doing so will result in an deshonorable discharge.

  9. Only share classified information within the community with the approval of a Officer. Disobedience of this rule will result in a disciplinary action.

  10. It's strictly prohibited the attempt of recruit members of other communities. This is not a behavior from a soldier from The Battalion.

  11. Your name inside the community should be always the same or the closest possible of your nickname in Steam/Origin. Any problems with your nickname, look for the closest officer and report the problem.

  12. Any attempt of mutiny or conspiracy against the community or a member, will result in an automatic ban from the community. If any member see a conspiracy happening he must report to the General of the Army, and him only.

Section 2: Teamspeak and Forums guidelines

Teamspeak:

  • For official channels 

  1. When directing to your superior, say at least his rank first. If you don't do this, it will be considered a disrespect.

  2. Any curse in this channel will result in a warning.

  3. Any sexual profanity or disrespect of any kind will result in a immediate kick from the channel and also an infraction.

  4. A mature behavior is more than mandatory.

  • For Adult channels

  1. Members don't need to say at least the rank when directing to a superior.

  2. Cursing will be tolerated, but do not abuse it.

  3. Sexual profanity and disrespect of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • For Tactical lobbies

  1. Members in this channel will only have a conversation about the game they're playing. Members caught talking about anything but the game played will be booted from the channel.

 

Forums:

  • Official Code of Ethic:

  1. ​No cursing and sexual content are allowed, including links.

  2. We do not encourage sexual content for members below 18+ years old.

  3. Sexual content and cursing will be only permitted in certified boards. But no links will be allowed. Don't abuse it!

  4. Do not transform the sexual certified boards into some porn house. Otherwise, this benefit will be revoked. Use it wisely.

  5. In official boards, proper language when directing to superior rank members are expected.

  6. Remember you have to show the other members what is to be a Battalion soldier. A true soldier is the one who fights to keep alive our core values.

Section 3: Member expectations

  • Every Battalion soldier is expected to defend the core values. Failing to do so will result in a disciplinary action. The core values are: Truth, Family, Loyalty, Maturity, Integrity, Selfless Service and Honor.

  • Every soldier is expected to follow all the rules no matter what the occasion.

  • Every soldier is encouraged to help a falling soldier.

  • Every soldier is expected to vote for us and promote our community all the time.

  • Every soldier is expected to remain active.

  • Every soldier has to know that his real life comes first no matter what.

  • Every soldier is expected to have fun!

Section 4: Activity requirements, vote and partaking in departments

  • The activity requirements are:

  1. Play twice a week the game of your main division.

  2. Check the forums once a week.

  3. Attend the clan meeting. If you can't attend, tell your superior officer.

  4. Attend practices at least twice a week

  • Important note: Members who complete the requirements above will carry the GLAM. 

  • Vote

  1. ​To be allowed to vote you need to carry the GLAM signal and you need at least be a private.

  2. Votes are secret and they will be realized through a poll to ensure vote security.

  • Partaking in departments

  1. ​In order to participate in any department you need to carry the GLAM signal plus be at least a private.

 

Section 5: GLAM, Elite units and awards

  • GLAM:

  1. The name stands for "Green Light Activity Marker". Members who achieve 75% or more of activity will carry the GLAM signal.

  2. The main goal for GLAM is to separate the members who care about the community and want to do things as a team than from those who are just bored.

  3. GLAM is considered the first thing to be considered if a soldier wants to be a Battalion Officer.

  • Elite Units

  1. All those who want to participate must have GLAM signals and accomplish the requirements set by its leader.

  • Awards

  1. Awards will be given to reward someone for good behavior, merit, game exceptional performance or any incredible situation.

  2. Recommend a member for an award is allowed and encouraged.

This handbook was written in December 20, 2014. No amendments are registered until nowadays.
